Ralph Gleason’s Jazz Casual presented jazz performances and conversation in an intimate setting, giving the viewer an extraordinarily personal experience of jazz. Coltrane performs here with his classic quartet with Coltrane on tenor and soprano sax, McCoy Tyner on piano, Jimmy Garrison on bass, and Elvin Jones on drums. This one is Afro Blue (M. Santamaria).
