If possible, I'd like to urge people to check out the Clarissa Room, if they haven't already. It's a great place for jazz and blues. Please patronage this cozy friendly energetic place on Clarissa Street to support it in all ways. There's usually no cover charge (only once in three years have I known there to be one), there's a mix of people of ages and backgrounds...if you like to dance (any style, freestyle, swing, blues, whatever) there's a good dance floor. But lots of people just go to listen and enjoy. Tables for people who get there early enough; bar and other spots to stand and relax. Back deck for fresh air and/or smoking. Free parking on the street.
