A couple of other shows coming up of note:
Grammy winning jazz leader Maria Schneider and her Orchestra will be appearing on Sunday, January 29th, will be doing two shows in Buffalo at the Albright Knox Gallery, at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. Check their website for more details. Although we’re so “local” here at Jazz@Rochester (and with a name like that why wouldn’t we be) the series at the Albright Knox this year looks great and this performance would be great to see if you want to brave the Thruway.
The Bop Shop is presenting the Cuong Vu Trio next month on Monday, February 27th at 8pm in the Bop Shop Atrium at Village Gate $5 suggested donation. Cuong Vu appeared for two sets on the Milestone’s stage during the 2004 RIJF.
