While I preferred the artistic approach I linked to earlier here, I thought I’d pass along this visual presentation of (part of ) John Coltrane’s Giant Steps. I don’t understand the whole “ditone to quadratone progression” explanation yet (OK, I understand that it is 2 to 4 tones, but not the significance), just thought it was cool.
