Still having some trouble getting home from work with my sanity still intact, but I thought for now I’d add a few listings for more jazz happening in Rochester and its environs. There are a bunch of them starting tomorrow. Here they are:

Jazz Explosion 2005 (featuring the Jimmie Highsmith, Jr. Band w/special Guest Trombonist Wycliffe Gordon and Guitarist Marcus Robinson, joined by Thornwood front man Herb Smith, Brother Wilson, Victor Antonetti, Jr., Marvin Parker, Jr., and Robbie Gissandanner), two shows 7:00 and 9:00pm on May 14th, at the German House, 315 Gregory St., Rochester, NY 14620 (585-234-9067). Doors open 6pm tickets per show will be $20 in advance and $25 day of show. Tickets at Music Lovers, Record Archives, House of Guitars, Bop Shop and the German House Box Office.
